NICKY

Legends Nicky is a hybrid photo-video tripod with 2 plate options – Flat plate and 75mm Bowl mount. Nicky has an impressive 25:1 load-to-weight ratio thanks to its 60 kg /132 lb load capability. Engineered to support DSLRs and larger video cameras, this makes Nicky the ideal tripod for landscape photographers and videographers. The maximum height of this tripod is 1.56 m / 61.41 ” fully extended and can reach as low as 12.4 cm / 4.88 “, with legs at 80˚ using the flat plate.
With its three detachable 4-section legs, Nicky is more suited to travel, as with the canopy separated from the legs, it can fit into most carry on luggage. With the legs detached and the addition of optional 3LT footwear, Vanz (sold separately), Nicky can also be used as a table-top tripod.

TOMMY

Tommy has been engineered to support DSLRs and larger video cameras, making this an ideal tripod for both landscape photographers and videographers.
Tommy is an incredibly stable carbon fibre tripod with 3-section legs that boast a maximum diameter of 35mm / 1.38 “, making it the sturdiest tripod to date across all of our ranges.
With all three legs detached Tommy can convert to a table top tripod with the use of 3LT’s additional footwear Vanz (sold separately).

RAY

Ray is the ultimate, ultra-compact, micro-travel tripod, pairing incredible portability with strength and stability.
Part of 3 Legged Thing’s Legends range, Ray features not one but three detachable legs which can be used as monopods or boom arms. With the legs removed, Ray can be used as a table-top tripod by adding a set of 3LT’s tripod footwear.
Ray is constructed from 8 layers of 100% pure carbon fibre and aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, and has a new design of leg and column locks. Externally new O-Pads give users improved grip, leverage, and water displacement. Internally the locks have been engineered with a new design of Chicken Lips (shims) which give the locks greater strength and grip.
3LT’s Rapid Latch, an anodised metal leg latch with auto-engage lock, is used to open and position Ray’s legs, and to release them for counter-folding.

JAY

Part of 3LT’s Legends range of ultra-premium tripods, JAY is one of 3LT’s first hybrid photo/video products.
JAY is a carbon fibre levelling-base tripod, designed for travel. Jay has a friction control on the underside to finely adjust the position of the levelling base, and 5 section legs which enables the tripod to be folded to a compact size for transportation. Equally useful for video makers or landscape photographers, levelling base systems enable smooth and fast set-ups on challenging terrain.
